New 70% Baby Alpaca/ 30% Mulberry Silk coming soon...and Homesickness

Just finished to Dye two skeins of alpaca/silk totally by intuition...

Have no idea what will be the result and did the same to two discontinued australian merino superfine yarn I found undyed in my stock...
Lets see how it looks tomorrow or in 2 days (fog have been our  best friend these days :(
The experience involved at least 6 basic colors :) It will be a multicolored yarns but not a rainbow thing.
And I was very happy today to know my client in France loved the oxblood Silk lace skeins.
Always nice to see someone admiring your work and share it, something that is not a very great part of the culture in the country I live...for now! Worst. Felt for the first time in my life gender discrimination written in black and white!!!
You can break your ass working here and nobody cares, so different from Montreal..
And I'm so so so homesick right now...
And looking forward to knit like this again, but my brain is not ready. I'm even become dyslexic when I write any line and in any language...

Pure silk shawl "Morticia" pattern from boo knits in Ravelry find here:  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/morticia
100% pure Mulberry Silk Lace and beads :) Pure luxury :)

My New Hand Dyed Yarn...Oxblood - Brownish Red . 70% Alpaga/30% Mulberry Silk.

The Fine Lace 100% Mulberry Silk is already gone somewhere in France and my supplier does  not have 100% Silk Fine Lace :(

So I did another Oxblood with Baby Alpaca and Mulberry silk, the closest I have to get the shine from the first one in lace version...

Of course, red is never the same with wool as it is with pure silk but I like the result.
Its a semi solid with some few darker hints and still have good shine from the silk. Beautiful :)

(Took the pictures away from the sun, at the end of the day, to show better the true colour.)

My Yarn Stash is Growing too much...and waiting for some inspiration...

Good Morning :)
Going to knit some more rows of my shawl and another old project I left for months...
My yarn stash is growing too much and no sales this month...January seams to be a bad month for yarn sales.
Also waiting for a "special" inspiration to dye some baby alpaca/silk yarn :)

This pile is probably 10% of my stash LoL :D

Trying to knit again...until something inspires me to dye more yarn...

Took back the "Cameo" shawl from Paulina Popiolek (you can find the pattern on Ravelry here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/cameo-8 ) And it turns out that I had to frog half of it...again! I lost some stitches even if I'm still in the part where it's only knit stitches besides the kf/b and the picot. Thought last week, when I tryed to knit, that I was doing ok but...no, my brain tricked me :( So I'm back to the same stage again. And the shawl looks the same as last week...Can't wait to be able to finish this one and knit lacey shawls again :(
